Faculty Search at University of South Asia

Job Title: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer (For the faculty of Business Administration/ Textile Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering)

Educational Requirements

For Professor

1.    PhD/equivalent with twelve years’ of teaching experience of which at least six years as an Associate Professor. OR

2.    MPhil/equivalent with eighteen years’ of teaching experience of which at least seven years’ as an Associate Professor. 

For Associate Professor

1.    PhD/equivalent with at least seven years’ of teaching experience of which four years as an Assistant Professor. OR

2.    MPhil/equivalent with eight years’ of teaching experience of which at least five years’ as an Assistant Professor. No 3rd Division/Class/C grade will be acceptable.

For Assistant Professor

1.    PhD with minimum two 1st classes /divisions/A-Grade with minimum one year teaching experience. OR

2.    MPhil with two 1st classes/divisions /A-Grade with minimum two years teaching experience. OR

3.    Masters degree with minimum three 1st classes/divisions /A-Grade in all academic levels with minimum three years teaching experience.

For Senior Lecturer

1.    Masters degree in the subject concerned.

2.    1st division/class/A-Grade in all academic levels.

3.    Preference will be given to MPhil/PhD holders.

4.    Minimum two years teaching experience as lecturer.

For Lecturer

1.    Masters degree in the subject concerned.

2.    1st division/class/A-Grade in all academic levels.

3.    Selected candidates will be on for one year as per UGC rule and will be confirmed as a lecturer after successful completion of Teaching.

Number of Publication(s) Needed

For Professor: Minimum fifteen publicationsof which at least seven as an Associate Professor

For Associate Professor: Minimum five publications of which at least three as an Assistant Professor

For Assistant Professor: Minimum one publication.

For Senior Lecturer: Minimum one publication. (Please check this field)

For Lecturer: N/A
