Scope of Work:
Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer (NPO) and overall supervision of the Programme Manager (PM) and Chief of Mission (CoM) the incumbent will provide support to the programme team for the events and conferences planned around the post-2015 Development Agenda and the GFMD dialogues. The incumbent will be assigned, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- To support in the coordination of organizing seminars, workshops and other events.
- Follow up with invitees on their attendance.
- Maintain databases for RSVPs/queries/feedback from invitees
- Maintain confidentiality of information and the process
- To assist the programme team in drafting letters, reports and other documents.
- To conduct desk research and produce reports on issues related to the identified programme area.
- Assist in preparing reports
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor(s) and the Chief of Mission
