				Name of the position: Senior Sales Manager
No. of Vacancies :  01Job Description / Responsibility: The incumbent should have experience in handing independently a shipping sales team comprising 3-4 persons. Candidate should have clear understanding about the shipping trade and acquainted with the ocean export/ import operations of a shipping company. Knows actors of the trade such as buying house, direct shippers, freight forwarders etc. Independently negotiate sales deal and monitor/supervise the sales negotiation of other team members to achieve their sales targeted.  Also able to negotiate contracts, transport/handling costs with external vendors.   Initiate frequent market visit as and when necessary. Candidate should have good overseas and local communication skills. Should have good contact with other Shipping Line, Port & Customs Communication with local customer & overseas offices, as well as generate and send/follow up sales leads. Achievement of periodical Sales target Ensure profitable growth of the business Coordination with Customer Service & Operation team regarding various issues of existing customers Provide regular feedback to management about current situation/status of market and update with the sales strategy of the competitors.
