GO Health Service Selivery Project (NHSDP) is USAID’s largest investment in the health sector of Bangladesh. The project supports the delivery of an essential service package (ESP) of primary healthcare through a nationwide network of 26 local NGOs, 327 community service providers. USAID’s NHSDP service approximately 20 million people of Bangladesh (13 percent of the total population) through this massive network. The project complements Government of Bangladesh’s (GOB) efforts to maximize the reach to poor and underserved population of the country with quality services at an affordable or no cost fee.
Kanchan Samity was established in 1981 to promote sustainable health and population program and to reduce child and maternal deaths. Health has been one of the core competency areas of Kanchan. Kanchan is a voluntary, non-profitable organization that has been operating at the northern part of the country. It is currently implements programs in health & FP services and Health rights activities to the beneficiaries under the support of Development partners. The organization having it’s head office at Dinajpur and working at Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Joypurhat, Thakurgaon and Kurigram district having total population 1,211,794. The organization promotes positive public health outcomes and alleviates poverty together among its beneficiaries.
The organization invites application from the eligible candidates for the position of Project Director for smooth implementation of USAID/NHSDP goals at Dinajpur, Saidpur, Nilphamari, Joypurhat, Thakurgaon, Birol, Parbatipur, Hakimpur, Rajarhat, Bhurungamari, Rowmari and Rajibpur.
