Job Position/Code:  Product Development Manager / PDM – 1 no. Job Description: Work closely with and effectively with the Head of Operations and lead the interpretation and implementation of quality requirement directives. Responsible for leading the Quality Management function for the General Merchandise & Apparel department and management the overall quality, safety and reliability review process of products to ensure the compliance of Company /customers standard. Provide high level of technical advice and expertise to Merchandising team, suppliers/vendors and related parties of the product quality and safety issues. Maintenance and continuously improvement the quality system and quality improvement programs. Develop corrective and preventive plans for quality improvement. To ensure that all quality process and procedures within the Company conform to safety regulation, financial policies and legislation requirements. Implement a formal process, measures and incentives to assess and improve suppliers’ technical / quality performance in relation to development and product quality. Ad. hoc project as assigned by Management. Educational Qualification: Minimum bachelor of technology in Textile. Candidates holding qualification in Garment Manufacturing Technology would be given preference. Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience & good management & problem solving skills. Minimum 02 years in a similar/ senior role in an organization in Bangladesh. Additional Qualifications : Self-motivated individual, who can manage new product developments, resolving technical difficulties before main production, QA, QC Compliance for the business placed in this region. This is a senior level position requiring commensurate experience. Strong technical knowledge of quality control. Knowledge of local industry is a must.
