NGO Health Service Delivery
Project (NHSDP) is USAID's largest investment in Bangladesh’s health sector.
The project incorporates both Bangladesh’s Millennium Development Goals and the
goals of the Government of Bangladesh's Health, Population and Nutrition Sector
Development Program. The project complements the Government of Bangladesh’s
efforts to reach the poor and underserved population of the country with
quality services at little to no cost.
KAJUS (Kalikapur Jubo Sangsad) is a voluntary
organization, established in 1974 with a view to serving the disadvantage
people and to developing and hunting talents among the youth population. During
establishment of the KAJUS prominent as sports oriented Club, now this
organization adapted a new approach Health Service Delivery activities in the
costal belt area of Bangladesh.
KAJUS invites
application from the suitable candidates for the position of Clinic Manager for
smooth implementation of USAID/NHSDP goals at clinic level under Ptaukhali
Surjer Hasi clinic.
Qualification: Minimum graduate preferably in Business Studies or
Social Science. .
Experience: Working
experience with any non-government organization involved in health service will
be given preference. The candidate should have expertise in developing and
assist in writing project proposals and business plan, demonstrated ability in
facilitating project implementation, monitoring and supervision, good command in both written and spoken English and computer skills in
operating and MS-Office
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day
management and operation of the clinic and other service delivery
points
• Ensure the quality data – MIS,
Financial, Inventory and others generated from the clinic level
• Responsible for maintaining the
overall quality of the clinic.
• Ensure stock balance of drugs and
family planning commodities.
• Visit satellite clinics; observe
if satellite clinics are organized as per schedule and guideline. ·
• Supervise work of other service
providers and Admin Assistant’s work on maintenance of store and
fixed assets register, office supplies and their distribution
up-to-date.
•Ensure need based training of all
clinic staff and CSPs.
• Ensure MIS data are accurate and
data is routinely analyzed and used in management decision
making
• Ensure zero stock out of
essential drugs and contraceptives
• Operate project bank accounts
jointly with any other designated person as per NHSDP guideline
• Ensure that petty cash is
maintained as per financial guideline
• Ensure compliance of audit
recommendations and
• Ensure reliable accounting and
inventory system
•Make liaison with GOB and other
stakeholders for program implementation and represent the
Clinic in all government and other meetings
• Ensure that each staff has job
description, and conduct periodic staff performance appraisal.
• Arrange training for staff in
coordination with Franchisee and NHSDP and as per business plan.
Marketing/BCC Activities
• Work with Service Promoter to
develop and implement a clinic level marketing strategy and
Plan for each service delivery points
• Ensure Service Promoter (SP)
conducts health education sessions for the waiting customers at
clinic and at satellite and IPC with community leaders and influential
group.
• Ensure SP conducts community
meeting with intended customers for different service
• Contact community institutions,
groups, and satellite clinic house owners to promote clinic
and its services.
