BANCHTE SHEKHA (Learn how to survive), a leading national NGO, has been working since 1976 in Bangladesh for upgrading the wellbeing and rights of women and children, invites applications from qualified, committed and skilled candidates for the below mentioned position for “School Led Total Sanitation (SLTS) Project‘’ funded by Oxfam.

Position: Project Coordinator (01) Key Responsibilities: Project Coordinator is the key responsible person for implementing the project. This is a managerial position with strong leadership, management, coordination and reporting skills. S/He is to support project staffs in achieving project goal and objectives in timely manner with quality. The incumbent is responsible is to provide strategic directions and keep close contact with OXFAM, UNICEF and Banchte Shekha to ensure smooth implementation of the project. The position also requires regular financial monitoring and transitions to ensure value for money. Quality reporting is a prerequisite for the position. Competencies and skill required: Develop and manage institutional relationships /Keep close liaison with project staffs, GO/NGOs, project higher authority, donor, government counterpart. Ability to work under pressure Ability for extensive field visit and developing field trips reports Pro-activeness and dynamic.  Strong leadership and management skills Team building, Teamwork and collaboration Advocacy skills Negotiation and facilitation skills Project management Ability to facilitate learning and knowledge management  Strong report writing and communication skills and in English Has ability to effectively deal with GO/NGO ad other partners.    Required qualification, experience and expertise: Master’s in Public Health/Social Science. At least 07 years experience on WASH projects and out of this 04 years of managerial experience is required. Knowledge on WASH and especially sensitized on gender Should have good command on English both in written and oral Practical knowledge on computer operation. Has experience motorcycle driving with valid license Job Location: Ashashuni in Satkhira District and Narail Sadar in Narail District. Salary: Tk. 45,000.00 monthly salary
