Duties include;
  • Identify training requirement for styles that require special operations and follow up until required training of operatives is effectively carried out to meet requirement.
  • Check correct sewing methods / techniques are followed during garment assembly to ensure that the required standards and productivity levels are maintained.
  •  Check and ensure the machines that are previously set up to meet requirements of critical sewing operations, are absorbed into the sewing lines ahead of commencement of bulk production.
  • Ability to understand the Tech Pack as well as buyer requirement.
  • General knowledge of the pattern/grading and fabric cutting.
  • General knowledge of the sewing attachment (folder).
  • General knowledge of the fabrication and sewing thread.
  • Well knowledge of sewing machine operation.
  • Continuous training to operators, supervisors and all parties concerned regarding technical aspects of the garment sewing.

Qualifications and experience;
  • Should be at least H.S.C/ S.S.C qualified.
  • Professional qualification in Technical would be a definite advantage.
  • At least 5 -7 years’ experience in the similar capacity in a reputed garment factory.
  • Good communication skill coupled with fair English knowledge.
