Petromax Refinery Ltd (A sister concern of Youth group in BANGLADESH) would like to appoint a Fire and Safety Officer for its newly built petroleum refinery plant situated at Mongla port industrial area, having capacity of 2500 BPSD. The plant consists of atmospheric distillation, Naphtha Hydro treating unit (NHT), Catalytic reforming unit (CRU) and LPG plant.
Position: 2
Responsibilities:
- To train up all workers / staffs / employees on fire safety, protection, fighting and first-aid on demonstration basis and to make the mission success as per fire safety plan.
- To monitor / supervise the electrical / power cables / loose wires properly and to take remedial measures immediately.
- Maintain and ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & un-block evacuation for all employees
- To check machine maintenance and fire related books, registers, logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
- Must have knowledge on installation of Panel Board System Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector, as well as Complete Fire Hydrant system and Knowledge on auto detection of fire
- Regular inspection of fire security post and sensitive points of the factory at day & night
- Report to management in case of any risk.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Graduate or Masters from any recognized institute/university
- Additional degree/qualification/training in relevant discipline will be preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Retired Officers from Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 8/10 years’ experience in Civil Defense or Military, or any large & reputed industry as Fire Safety Officer.
- Age 30 to 40 year(s)
- Age 40 to 50 year(s), Relax able in case of experienced and retired officer from Fire service and Civil Defense.
- Capable of working under stress.
